Here the puppies are nursing right after birth. The last one born (boy #2) was so small, that I really had to watch him to make sure that he got some milk.
Ten weeks later the smallest one born is the largest one in the litter. There is no need to make sure that he gets enough to eat now. He is the first one at the food dish, and eats everything in site.
